Position: Housekeeper
Reporting to: Hospital Administrator
Department: Administration

Main Purpose

• The Job holder will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the Clinic

Main Responsibilities

• Cleans and disinfects sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, floors, etc. Replenishesbathroom supplies
• Sweeps, mops, vacuums, floors using brooms, mops and vacuum cleaners. Other floor work may be required such as: scrubbing and polishing floors
• Dusts furniture, equipment, and partitions,
• Empties wastebaskets and recyclables and transports to disposal area
• Cleans rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture
• Employee must comply with proper safety policies and procedures as required (i.e. when usingcleaning chemicals, reporting incidents, etc)
• Provides excellent level of customer service to both internal and external customers during cleaning
• Must be able to determine the neatness, accuracy and thoroughness of the work assigned

Qualification Required & Experience

• SSCE/High school graduate from a recognized institution

Experience:

• At least two year working experience in the care and maintenance of buildings and knowledge of methods, safety practices, materials, chemicals, and equipment used in janitorial work is desirable.
• Extensive experience in all aspects of general cleaning

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to Speak, Read and Write in English
• Excellent work ethics (i.e. pride in work, reliable, well presented, punctual)
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently unsupervised.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
